Plagiarism Policy

International Journal of Research in Vocational Studies (IJRVOCAS) is committed to publishing original scholarly works and maintaining academic integrity. The journal does not tolerate plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, data falsification, inappropriate authorship, citation manipulation, or any other form of academic misconduct.

All submitted manuscripts are expected to be original and must not have been published previously or be under consideration by another journal. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all sources, ideas, data, figures, tables, and materials taken from other works are properly cited and acknowledged.

The editorial office may use plagiarism detection software or other similarity-checking tools to screen submitted manuscripts. Manuscripts with excessive similarity, unattributed copying, improper paraphrasing, or overlapping publication may be returned to the authors for clarification, revision, or may be rejected.

IJRVOCAS considers plagiarism to include, but not be limited to:

Copying text, ideas, data, tables, figures, or other materials from another source without proper citation;
Using another author’s work or ideas without acknowledgment;
Reusing substantial parts of the author’s own previously published work without proper citation;
Submitting the same or substantially similar manuscript to more than one journal;
Presenting fabricated or falsified data as original research findings.

If plagiarism or publication misconduct is detected before publication, the manuscript may be rejected immediately. If misconduct is identified after publication, the journal may issue a correction, expression of concern, or retraction, depending on the nature and severity of the case.

Authors are encouraged to ensure that their manuscripts are carefully checked for originality, proper citation, and ethical compliance before submission. The final responsibility for the originality and integrity of the submitted work rests with the authors.
