Publication Ethics

International Journal of Research in Vocational Studies (IJRVOCAS) is committed to upholding high standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. The journal follows ethical principles in scholarly publishing to ensure that all published works are original, accurate, transparent, and responsibly produced.

IJRVOCAS is published by Yayasan Ghalih Pelopor Pendidikan. The journal maintains editorial independence in all publication decisions. Editorial decisions are based on the academic quality, originality, relevance, methodological soundness, ethical compliance, and contribution of the manuscript to the field of vocational studies and applied education.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that submitted manuscripts are original, have not been published elsewhere, and are not under consideration by another journal. Authors must properly acknowledge all sources, avoid plagiarism, and ensure that all data, findings, and references are presented accurately. Any potential conflicts of interest, funding sources, or ethical concerns must be disclosed during submission.

Editors are responsible for evaluating manuscripts fairly and objectively. Editorial decisions must not be influenced by the authors’ nationality, institutional affiliation, gender, religion, political view, or other personal characteristics. Editors must maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and must not use unpublished materials for personal advantage.

Reviewers are responsible for providing objective, constructive, and timely evaluations of manuscripts. Reviewers must maintain confidentiality and must not share, copy, or use any part of the manuscript before publication. Reviewers should decline the review invitation if they have a conflict of interest or if the manuscript is outside their area of expertise.

IJRVOCAS does not tolerate plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, inappropriate authorship, citation manipulation, peer-review manipulation, or any other form of academic misconduct. When suspected misconduct is identified, the journal will investigate the case carefully and take appropriate action, which may include manuscript rejection, correction, retraction, notification to authors’ institutions, or other measures in accordance with ethical publishing practices.

Authors must ensure that research involving human participants, personal data, institutions, or organizations has been conducted ethically and with appropriate consent or approval where required. The privacy, confidentiality, and rights of research participants must be protected.

The journal is committed to transparency, accountability, fairness, confidentiality, and integrity throughout the submission, peer-review, editorial decision, and publication processes.
