About the Journal
Afkar Journal: Islamic & Civilization Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the study of Islam and the development of civilizations through an interdisciplinary lens. The journal provides a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to explore the intellectual, spiritual, cultural, legal, historical, and societal dimensions of Islamic thought and civilization, both classical and contemporary.
Published biannually, Afkar Journal welcomes original research articles, theoretical papers, and critical reviews in areas such as Qur’anic studies, Hadith, Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), philosophy, theology (kalam), Sufism, Islamic history, Islamic education, political thought, and civilization-building.
