Roles and Responsibilities
Editor-in-Chief: Oversees the entire editorial process, ensures the maintenance of high academic standards, and coordinates among different sections.
Associate Editors: Assist the Editor-in-Chief, manage submissions in specific tracks or disciplines, and oversee the peer review process.
Section Editors: Specialize in particular themes or disciplines within the conference, managing the review process for papers in their section and ensuring relevance and quality.
Technical Editor: Focuses on the technical aspects of publication, including formatting, adherence to submission guidelines, and the integration of multimedia elements.
Copy Editors: Ensure linguistic accuracy, correct formatting, and adherence to the style guide of the proceedings.
Review Panel: Comprises subject matter experts who conduct blind peer reviews of submissions to guarantee the scholarly merit and relevance of the content.
Selection Criteria
Expertise: Members should be recognized experts in their fields, ideally with previous editorial experience or significant scholarly contributions.
Diversity: The team should represent a diverse range of disciplines, geographical locations, and academic traditions to reflect the international scope of the conference.
Commitment: Potential editors need to commit enough time and effort to the review process and editorial meetings.
