Author Guidelines
1. Introduction
Future Education Review (FER) welcomes high-quality original manuscripts that contribute to advancing knowledge in educational innovation, digital learning, future skills development, and transformative education systems.
Manuscripts must be written in clear academic English and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
2. Types of Manuscripts Accepted

3. Manuscript Preparation
3.1 Language
All manuscripts must be written in English.
3.2 Length

Research Articles: 5,000–8,000 words

Review Articles: 6,000–9,000 words
-
Short Papers: 3,000–4,000 words
Word count includes references but excludes tables and figures.
3.3 Structure of the Manuscript

4. Abstract Requirements
The abstract must:

Avoid citations in the abstract.
5. References

Use APA 7th Edition format

Include DOI where available

Ensure all references cited in-text appear in the reference list

Prefer recent and international scholarly sources
6. Ethical Standards
FER adheres to international publication ethics standards.
Authors must ensure:

The manuscript is original

No plagiarism (checked via Turnitin/iThenticate)

Proper citation of sources

Ethical approval for research involving human participants

Disclosure of AI tool usage (if applicable)
7. AI and Generative Tools Policy
If AI tools (e.g., generative AI, language models, automated writing assistants) are used:

Their use must be transparently disclosed

Authors remain fully responsible for content accuracy

AI tools cannot be listed as authors
8. Submission Process
All manuscripts must be submitted via the FER online submission system (OJS platform).
Authors must upload:

Main manuscript file (without author identity for double-blind review)

Separate title page (with author information)

Cover letter

Declaration of originality
9. Peer Review Process
FER uses a double-blind peer review system.

Initial editorial screening

Review by at least two independent reviewers

Decision categories: Accept / Minor Revision / Major Revision / Reject
Average review timeline: 4–8 weeks.
10. Open Access & Copyright
FER is fully open access.

11. Article Processing Charges (APC)
FER may charge an Article Processing Charge (APC) to support editorial and publication costs. Fee details are available on the journal website. Waivers may be considered under special circumstances.

Authors may:

Corrections or retractions follow COPE guidelines.
