About the Journal

The Indonesian Journal of BRICS Studies (IJBS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing research and dialogue on the political, economic, technological, and socio-cultural dimensions of BRICS and BRICS+ countries from an Indonesian and Global South perspective.

IJBS provides a multidisciplinary platform for scholars, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to share original research, review articles, and policy analyses. The journal focuses on Indonesia’s engagement with BRICS nations, South–South cooperation, sustainable development, international trade, geopolitics, digital innovation, and the economy.

By fostering rigorous academic discourse and promoting open access, IJBS seeks to contribute to a deeper understanding of the role of BRICS in reshaping global governance and supporting inclusive growth in emerging economies.
