About the Journal

The International Journal of Mechanics, Energy Engineering and Applied Science (IJMEAS) is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal. This journal provides full open access to its content on the principle that making research freely and independently available to the science community and the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge and the further development of expertise in the field of engineering. IJMEAS is since the beginning independent from any non-scientific third-party funding. The establishment of the journal was supported between 2023 with grants from the Yayasan Ghalih Pelopor Pendidikan (Ghalih Foundation). All members of IJMEAS work on an honorary basis. The journal is hosted by Ghalih Publishing, the publishing house of the Ghalih Academic and University Library.

Scope

IJMEAS accepts publishing articles, review essays, biographies, and book reviews. Submissions are accepted in English contributing to the various fields of Mechanics, Energy Engineering, and Applied Science. 

Some themes within these areas are as follows:

  • Mechanics (Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy Engineering, Manufacturing, Design Engineering, Nano-Fluid Engineering, Material advanced Engineering, etc)

  • Energy (Wind Energy, Solar Energy, Biomass Energy, Battery Storage, Hydro Energy, Catalyst Energy, Tidal Energy, etc.

  • Applied Science (Internet of Things, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, etc)

Free and invited submission

  • Free article submission: IJMEAS accepts literature reviews, empirical studies, theoretical articles, methodological articles, and case studies. An article should be about 5 to 8 pages in length. Manuscript submissions are welcome throughout the year.

Publication costs

IJMEAS is an Open Access journal that provides a broad opportunity to be accessed on the Internet. The publisher guarantees that the reader will never have to pay-per-view fees to access the articles published in this journal.

Authors pay a one-time article processing charge (APC) to cover the cost of DOI registration, maintaining a publication infrastructure, managing the journals, and processing the manuscripts through peer review and the editorial procedure. These Article Processing Charges (APC) are only used to support publishers to make the published articles freely available to all readers. 

This journal charges the following author fees.

Article Submission: 0.00 (USD) / 0 (IDR)

Fast-Track Review: 10.00 (USD) / 150.000 (IDR)

Article Publication: 45.00 (USD) / 750.000 (IDR)

Publication Frequency

  • Issues (online): triannually (January, May, September).
