Complaints and Appeals Policy

International Journal of Research in Vocational Studies (IJRVOCAS) is committed to handling complaints and appeals fairly, transparently, and responsibly. The journal recognizes that authors, reviewers, readers, or other parties may raise concerns related to editorial decisions, peer-review process, publication ethics, published content, or journal management.

Complaints may include concerns about editorial handling, peer-review process, publication delay, ethical issues, conflict of interest, plagiarism, data concerns, authorship disputes, correction requests, retraction requests, or other matters related to the journal’s publication process.

Authors may submit an appeal if they believe that a manuscript rejection or editorial decision was based on a misunderstanding, procedural error, or significant factual error. Appeals must provide clear reasons and supporting evidence. Appeals that simply disagree with reviewers’ opinions without academic justification may not be considered.

All complaints and appeals should be submitted to the editorial office through the journal’s official contact email. The complaint or appeal should clearly describe the issue, provide relevant manuscript details where applicable, and include supporting evidence.

The Editor-in-Chief or assigned editor will review the complaint or appeal carefully and may consult members of the editorial board, reviewers, authors, or relevant parties when necessary. If the complaint involves the Editor-in-Chief or a conflict of interest, the case may be handled by another qualified editorial board member.

IJRVOCAS aims to respond to complaints and appeals in a fair and timely manner. The final decision will be based on the journal’s editorial policies, publication ethics, peer-review standards, and available evidence.

Submitting an appeal does not guarantee that the editorial decision will be changed. However, the journal will ensure that all valid appeals and complaints are considered respectfully and objectively.
