Correction and Retraction Policy

International Journal of Research in Vocational Studies (IJRVOCAS) is committed to maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the scholarly record. The journal recognizes that corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions may be necessary when errors, ethical concerns, or publication misconduct are identified after publication.

Corrections may be issued when a published article contains errors that do not invalidate the overall findings, conclusions, or integrity of the work. These may include errors in author information, affiliations, funding statements, data presentation, figures, tables, references, or other parts of the article. The correction notice will be published and linked to the original article.

An expression of concern may be issued when serious concerns are raised about a published article, but the investigation has not yet been completed or the available evidence is inconclusive. The expression of concern will remain linked to the article until a final decision is made.

A retraction may be issued when a published article is found to contain serious errors, unreliable findings, plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, unethical research practices, peer-review manipulation, inappropriate authorship, or other forms of publication misconduct. Retraction may also be issued when the findings of the article are no longer considered reliable.

Retraction decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief in consultation with the editorial board and, when necessary, reviewers, authors, or relevant institutions. Authors may request a correction or retraction, but the final editorial decision rests with the journal.

When an article is retracted, the retraction notice will clearly state the reason for retraction and will remain permanently available on the journal website. The original article may remain accessible for the scholarly record but will be clearly marked as retracted.
