Data Availability Policy
International Journal of Research in Vocational Studies (IJRVOCAS) encourages transparency, accountability, and responsible data sharing in scholarly research. Authors are encouraged to make research data available whenever possible, provided that data sharing does not violate ethical, legal, privacy, confidentiality, institutional, or contractual obligations.
Research data may include datasets, survey instruments, interview protocols, code, software, models, documentation, supplementary materials, or other materials used to support the findings of the manuscript.
Authors should include a data availability statement in the manuscript. The statement should explain whether the data supporting the findings of the study are available, where the data can be accessed, and under what conditions the data may be used.
When data are publicly available, authors should provide the repository name, DOI or persistent identifier, URL, and any access conditions. Authors are encouraged to deposit data in recognized institutional, subject-specific, or general-purpose repositories where appropriate.
When data cannot be shared publicly, authors should clearly state the reason. Acceptable reasons may include participant privacy, confidentiality agreements, ethical restrictions, institutional policies, commercial sensitivity, or legal limitations.
For studies involving human participants, personal data, institutions, organizations, or sensitive information, authors must ensure that data sharing complies with ethical approval, informed consent, privacy protection, and applicable regulations.
IJRVOCAS may request authors to provide supporting data, documentation, or clarification during the editorial and peer-review process when necessary. Failure to provide reasonable clarification may affect the editorial decision.
The journal supports responsible data sharing to improve research transparency, reproducibility, verification, and long-term scholarly value, while respecting ethical and legal responsibilities.
